Enju is another woman brought back to life by Urasue. She was brought back to life to make clay warriors. When she meets up with Kikyou, Enju has given up and wants to stay dead. She doesn't want to continue making clay soldiers to kill people. Kikyou saves her and Enju gets upsets and leaves in a whirlwhind of flames. She knows that Kikyou is responsible for her "mother" Urasue death. She ends up meeting up with the InuYasha gang and they quickly figure out she was brought back by Urasue. Enju admits to them while they're going up against her "brother" Kawaramaru that she wants to die. Kagome convinces Enju to promise that if they win the battle she will give life a chance. At the end of the episode she receives one last soul from Kikyou promising to give life a chance.
